Sometimes my own culinary genius truly astounds me. Here is my new favorite snack, Garam Masala Peaches:
1. Peel and slice two peaches (I use one white peach and one yellow peach, just for some colour)
2. Heat 1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil in a small frying pan. Pop the peaches in.
3. Add a pinch of each of the following: cumin, coriander (I like to use whole seeds for a lil' flavour pop), cinnamon, ginger, allspice and black pepper
4. Add 1 tsp. maple syrup (the good stuff, not Aunt Jemima)
5. Pan fry until peaches are golden.
Serve with a nice cup o' chai tea.
Yee haw! I'm a regular Martha Stewart in gladiator sandals!
